Onana set to join Manchester United as new signing

According to a report from Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Andre Onana, the goalkeeper for Inter Milan, has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Manchester United. It appears that Erik ten Hag, the manager of the Red Devils, has selected Onana as his preferred choice to replace David de Gea, whose contract has expired.

Nevertheless, Manchester United has faced setbacks in their pursuit of Onana, as Inter Milan has turned down two offers from them. The most recent bid included a base amount of £38.5 million, with an additional £4.2 million in add-ons and bonuses.

Inter Milan has set their sights on receiving €55 million (£47 million) for the 27-year-old goalkeeper, and there is optimism that an agreement will be reached by all parties in the near future.

In the meantime, Manchester United has been engaged in discussions with both Inter Milan and Onana simultaneously. The club has reportedly reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with the goalkeeper, who is eager to reunite with Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
