Napoli Star Osimhen, Gets Injured in Training

Napolis forward, Victor Osimhen, had to withdraw from Tuesday’s training session due to an ankle injury. The club, in an official staement  announced that the Nigerian player had to leave training early due to this setback.

According to another source, the 24-year-old suffered the injury following a collision with the new signing Nathan during a practice match. Osimhen displayed visible discomfort as he walked off the field with a limp, immediately applying an ice pack to his injured ankle.

Fortunately, the striker’s absence from the field is not expected to be prolonged. The upcoming 2023-24 Serie A season is set to commence on August 19. Napoli is scheduled to play against the newly promoted Frosinone in their first fixture of the season.
