Liverpool have joined the race to sign Barcelona winger Raphinha, who has not convinced those in charge at Camp Nou that he should be kept around beyond the current season.

Also on Liverpool’s radar is Boca Juniors left-back Valentin Barco, who is seen as a long-term successor to Andy Robertson.

Manchester United will prioritise signing a new centre-back in the January transfer window, with Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo seen as a top target.
