EPL: Arsenal suffer heavy injury blow

Jurrien Timber, Arsenal’s recent acquisition, is slated to undergo surgery to address the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee.

Having made the move from Ajax to Arsenal in June, Timber is now facing an extended period of recovery and rehabilitation due to this injury setback.

Although there isn’t a specific timeframe specified for his absence, the recovery process could potentially span from seven to nine months.

Arsenal has officially confirmed this development in a statement, stating, “Following comprehensive evaluations by consulting specialists since Saturday, we can confirm that Jurrien Timber has sustained damage to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. In the upcoming days, Jurrien will undergo surgical intervention and will be sidelined for a significant duration.”

This injury represents a challenging hurdle for Timber as he embarks on his journey with Arsenal.
